We’ve often wondered whether or not we’re taking the right path in life, or at least making the right choices.

In April of 1958, Hunter S. Thompson was 22 years old when he wrote this letter to his friend Hume Logan in response to a request for life advice.

Thompson’s letter, whilst slightly odd-way, still remains as thoughtful and as applicable to the now as the year as it was written, and becomes clearer each year I read it. Profound advice for your Sunday evening. Read more…

A while back I posted the article Ice, Ice Baby. If you have ever sat a first aid course or nursed a sporting injury, you’re probably aware of the acronym, RICE. Rest. Ice. Compression. Elevation. Interestingly, a little while back, sports coach Kelly Starrett (of Supple Leopard fame) boldly stated that icing, in particular, ice baths no longer possessed the magical healing abilities we once thought, which is contrary to popular sports medicine and rehabilitation technique.
